Sometimes we love them. Then there are times when we wish we were only children.
Today is the time to celebrate the former as April 10 is National Siblings Day.
National Sibling Day has been recognized as an annual event for many years around the world, but it only became an official holiday in the U.S. in 2008, after efforts from the Siblings Day Foundation.
If you don't live close enough to your siblings, today might be a good day to give them a call and let them know you are thinking of them. If you live within driving distance, stop by and say hello, go out for dinner or bring by some flowers or a small gift.
All of these are little things that show your brother or sister you care. That is, if you're still on speaking terms after they ratted you out to your parents when you were eight.
