Jennifer Lawrence is going nowhere fast her studio bosses exclusively tell Confidenti@l.
After a week of speculation that the American Hustle beauty, nominated tonight for Best Supporting Actress for the film, will take a year off and is being overworked by the Hunger Games franchise, it appears the 23-year-old has no plans to slow down.
Lawrence will be busy with film roles for the foreseeable future, with Lionsgate Entertainment honchos telling us at the 51st ICG Publicist Awards Friday that she has a series of roles locked down. They also admitted theyre still unimpressed with comments that director David O. Russell made to Confidenti@l before the Golden Globes, likening her film workload to 12 Years a Slave.

Ill tell you what it is about that girl talk about 12 years of slavery, thats what the (Hunger Games) franchise is. And Im going to get in so much trouble for saying that, Russell told us in January.
About that break, Weinstein Co. boss Harvey Weinstein had claimed earlier this week that the Oscar winner would be taking a year off after working on the Hunger Games, but Lionsgate co-chairman Rob Friedman insisted to us: not the case.
David O. Russell, he shouldnt have said it in the first place, Friedman told us. No... you ask Jen. ... She is working hard as we speak, and she is going to be continuing until the end of June, and we have other projects that she is interested in doing. We are shooting the two Hunger Games back to back and then we wrap, but after that we have Lawrence for The Glass Castle and Burial Rites.

She is just great, and she has a great family foundation and is doing well. We support Jen in every way she wants.
Fellow Lionsgate co-chair Patrick Wachsberger added, (Jen) is full of energy. She is still very young. She is amazing. She can do anything from my point of view. I dont think there has been someone like that since Julia Roberts. Jen is a star.
Their stance comes in the wake of several questions about Lawrences heavy workload following health issues. In mid-November, we reported that she visited an emergency room in Los Angeles after experiencing severe gas. She later admitted as much on Late Show With David Letterman.
When asked if Lawrence would suffer burnout and quit Hollywood, Friedman said to us: Those are questions you are better off asking Jen.
The two Lionsgate execs were honored at the awards event, where stars including Carol Burnett and Jacqueline Bisset attended.
